Food Bank of Northern Nevada

The Food Bank of Northern Nevada connects families and individuals to the food and resources they need to thrive. Working with more than 155 partner agencies and through direct service programs, FBMM creates opportunities for over 160,000 neighbors each month to access fresh, nourishing meals. This includes children, seniors, and others working toward brighter futures.

Three Square 
Three Square Food Bank serves the residents of Lincoln, Nye, Esmeralda and Clark counties with programs benefitting more than 1,300 partner sites in Southern Nevada, including food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, after-school programs, senior citizens and more. In 2024, Three Square distributed more than 41 million meals, the equivalent of more than 49 million pounds of food and grocery product, through community partners.

SNAP (Food Stamps)

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP, formerly Food Stamps) helps low-income people and families buy the food they need for good health.

WIC (Women, Infants & Children)

Women, Infants and Children (WIC) provides supplemental nutritious foods, nutrition education, breastfeeding support and referrals to health services and social services to participants at no charge. It is this combination of education, supplemental foods, and referrals to health care providers which allows WIC to make a difference. The WIC Program staff works with health and social services professionals to ensure the best health care possible.

Office of Food Security

Tthe Governor's Council on Food Security, within the DHS Office of Food Security, works to implement the goals of Food Security in Nevada: Nevada's Plan for Action and effectively improve the quality of life and health of Nevadans by increasing food security throughout the State.
