Nevada Check Up
The Nevada Check Up program provides low-cost, comprehensive health care coverage to low income, uninsured children (birth through 18) who are not covered by private insurance or Medicaid; while (1) promoting health care coverage for children; (2) encouraging individual responsibility; and (3) working with public and private health care providers and community advocates for children.

Community Health Centers
Community Health Centers (CHCs) are non-profit, community-based, and patient-directed organizations that deliver comprehensive, culturally competent, high-quality primary health care services. CHCs also often integrate access to pharmacy, mental health, substance use disorder, and oral health services in areas where economic, geographic, or cultural barriers limit access to affordable health care services.

Nevada Health Centers
Nevada Health Centers offers all people, regardless of where they live or their ability to pay, with access to affordable, quality medical and dental care. Everyone is welcome and a sliding fee scale is offered for uninsured patients based on family income.

Community Health Alliance
Community Health Alliance (CHA, formerly HAWC) provides quality medical and dental care to the medically disenfranchised in northern Nevada.  Access to health care in Nevada is a persistent problem.  CHA serves more than 30,000 patients a year with preventative and primary health care.

Volunteers in Medicine of Southern Nevada

These individuals are typically low-income earners whose jobs don’t include access to health insurance. As a nonprofit health organization, VMSN provides care and support at no cost to these individuals who are falling through the cracks of the health system.

Access to Healthcare Network
Since 2006, Access to Healthcare (AHN) has been developing services that help individuals, families, and organizations manage health care effectively and affordably. From finding an appropriate plan to coordinating care, from making community connections to offering eligibility screening, AHN helps make sure health care access is available for all Nevadans.
