Consumer Health Assistance
The Office for Consumer Health Assistance serves as a health care advocate, helping Nevadans understand their health insurance plan, workers’ compensation policies, eligibility requirements, appeal rights, or more. As part of the Aging and Disability Services Division, the Office for Consumer Health Assistance is dedicated to ensuring that everyone has the knowledge and support to make confident, informed decisions about their healthcare.  

Family Resource Centers
Nevada has 18 Family Resource Centers (FRCs) that provide information, referrals, and case management to residents in each service area, defined by residential ZIP code. FRCs collaborate with local and state agencies and organizations to help individuals and families access needed services and support.

Food Assistance
Locate food resources such as the Food Bank of Northern Nevada and Three Square, SNAP and WIC. 

Financial Assistance
Learn about financial assistance programs such as TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families), Child Support Enforcement, Senior Tax Assistance, Energy Assistance Program, Child Care Assistance and Free Tax Return Preparation.

Medical Assistance
Locate resources that provide medical assistance.  You can learn how to apply for medical coverage, locate information on Medicaid, Nevada Check Up, Senior RX, Disability RX, Nevada Health Centers, Health Access Washoe County, Volunteers in Medicine of Southern Nevada, Access to Healthcare Network and Consumer Health Assistance.
