Diversity and Inclusion Liaisons

Under Nevada law,  state agencies that engage with or provide services to minority groups may appoint a Diversity and Inclusion Liaison (DIL) within their organization. DILs help their state agencies communicate effectively with minority groups, and be more culturally competent in serving minority groups. DILs also serve as the primary contact person to maintain ongoing communication between their state agency and minority groups. Finally, DILs work with their state agency and with each other to increase accessibility and inclusivity for members of minority groups who are accessing programs or services.

Below are the DILs across DHS divisions as of May 2026:

To learn more about DILs and how they can help you, including annual meeting and reporting, see Nevada Revised Statutes Ch. 232.0085.
